"Giselle" is a classical ballet that tells the story of a peasant girl who falls in love with a nobleman disguised as a commoner. Tragically, the girl dies of a broken heart when she discovers the truth about her lover's identity. The ballet is known for its stunning choreography and beautiful music, and is a true masterpiece of the ballet repertoire. We are honored to have the prime dancers from the National Opera and Ballet of Ukraine bring this timeless classic to life on stage. Meet the Fellows who run the program and the young adults who participate. 🎨 "The Fellowship Gallery Show," featuring artwork created by neurodivergent teens and young adults. The artists are participants in IOB's Eau Claire Fellowship program. The exhibition will be displayed at the Pablo Center at the Confluence's Laurie Bieze Gallery from April 1st through May 16th, with a special reception on April 25th from 5 - 7 PM in the Market & Johnson Clearwater Recital Hall. Speakers will present from 5:45 - 6:15 PM. 🧠 The Fellowship is part of a larger statewide initiative aimed at providing community resources for people with disabilities to address issues with transition from school to post-academic life. Through creative expression and mentorship, The Fellowship builds confidence, technical skills, and social connections.
